The Power of Faith and Works

Our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Notice where the power lies, IN YOU.

To make full use of the power, one must understand faith and works. Faith is defined as a complete trust or confidence without doubt. This is how the faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain.

Works can be viewed as our faith in action. Works are the ordered steps we take in order to get in the proper position for a blessing to manifest.

The Bible declares that faith without works is dead. Many prayers go unanswered because of this. We pray, we believe that God heard us and that he is able, but we have a problem following directions. Jesus touched a blind man and told him to go wash. If he did not listen, he never would have received his sight.

God's word is good and it should be hidden within us, in our hearts. But be sure to never ask God for something that you are not ready to commit to and work for. Failure to commit and put in work will bring about death. Death to relationships, dreams, progress, hope, and if left unaddressed even ourselves.

Work hard and ask God to bless the work of your hands. Believe that he is able and he will make ways where there are none to be found.

You have the power. Use it, and become more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
