A Quick Change of Perspective

I used to pray for promotions, financial increases, and opportunities for gain. I used to pray and ask God why everyone around me was able to receive the blessings that I desired for myself?

Now I pray and tell God thank you for those that I love being alive and the little bit that I have. I tell God if you don't do anything else, you have done more than enough.

I don't complain when times get hard or when things get tight like I used to. I just remind myself that this too shall pass. My joy is coming in the morning.

For that overwhelmed person, keep holding on. God is not finished yet. You'll reap if you faint not. And when you reap, the tears that once carried sorrow and pain, will carry joy and gladness.

Just be thankful where you are and wait on him. You will not be ashamed.
